The 2 x Mad Drop Blacktrap Drying Towels + FREE Magic Wet Coat 500ML bundle combines high-capacity drying with quick and easy exterior protection.

The Blacktrap 50 x 80 cm, 1800 GSM drying towels are designed to absorb large amounts of water while gliding smoothly over the paintwork, helping you dry the vehicle quickly and with a lower risk of leaving streaks or unnecessary friction on the surface.

Mad Drop Magic Wet Coat adds fast hydrophobic protection during the wash process. It helps water bead and run off the surface more easily, making drying faster while leaving the exterior smoother, glossier and better protected.

HOW TO USE

Wash and rinse the vehicle thoroughly. Make sure there is no loose dirt left on the paint before applying Magic Wet Coat.
Apply Magic Wet Coat to the wet vehicle. Spray the product evenly onto one panel at a time while the surface is still wet.
Rinse immediately. Thoroughly rinse the treated area with water to activate and evenly distribute the protection. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
Dry the vehicle. Place the Blacktrap drying towel flat against the surface and gently drag or pat it across the paintwork to absorb the remaining water.
Use the second towel when the first becomes heavily saturated or keep it for final drying around glass, lower panels and harder-to-reach areas.

TIPS AND COMPATIBILITY

For best results, apply Magic Wet Coat panel by panel and rinse each treated section before moving to the next one. Avoid applying too much product, as a light and even application is sufficient.

The wet coat can be used on most exterior surfaces, including paintwork, glass, exterior plastics and wheels. Always apply it to a wet, freshly washed surface.

The Blacktrap towels are suitable for drying painted surfaces, glass, plastics and other exterior surfaces. Avoid pressing heavily or scrubbing the paint. Let the towel's high absorbency do the work.

Having two drying towels is especially useful for larger vehicles or when you want to keep one towel for upper, cleaner areas and the other for lower sections of the vehicle.

CARE AND SAFETY

Do not allow Magic Wet Coat to dry on the vehicle. Avoid applying it on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Store the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and freezing temperatures. Keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with eyes.

Wash the Blacktrap drying towels separately from regular laundry using a suitable microfibre detergent or mild liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach, as they can reduce the towels' absorbency and damage the fibres.

After washing, air-dry the towels or tumble-dry them at a low temperature. Store them clean and dry to prevent dirt or grit from becoming trapped in the fibres.

Good everyday combo

Easy enough for a normal maintenance wash and the result is very good. I cannot judge the full three-month protection claim yet, so four stars for now.

Thick towel

Absorbs loads of water and feels very soft on the paint. It is extremely thick though, so it takes a bit more space to store.

Performance is great, but the towel is bulky when fully wet. Still much better than using two or three normal drying towels.

Used the set on an estate and the Blacktrap still had enough capacity for the whole vehicle. Wet Coat made the roof and bonnet especially quick to finish.

Mixed feelings

The towel absorbs very well and Wet Coat definitely beads water, but I found the towel a bit too thick for smaller panels and mirrors. Good performance, just not my preferred size and feel.

Water behaviour is much better after the Wet Coat and the Blacktrap absorbs a lot. I just wish the towel was easier to wring by hand.

The 1800 GSM towel is excellent on the main panels and the Wet Coat saves time. I still keep a small towel nearby for awkward spots.

My black car looked noticeably glossier after the wash and I had fewer water marks because I could dry it faster.

After the final rinse most of the water was already moving off the car. The towel then dried the remaining panels without becoming useless halfway through.
